Eeanne ran like a Bollywood star...

It was really a fruitful Sunday. We took the opportunity even though it was only 2 hours before the Sunway shopping complex close, all just because to get her BumbleBee CD.

It had been quite a while Eeanne didn't go for shopping. Eeanne has over friendly character. She is not afraid of strangers and fond to kids especially. At the Popular book store, she approached few kids until the boys and girls didn't know how to response to Eeanne's eagerness in making friend. Eeanne is certainly a very friendly little girl. While this make me wonder as we grown up, we have lost this eagerness in making friend....Why?..We even afraid of making a hand shake as the first step to make friend...Thank you Eeanne again in reminding us on our long lost friendliness nature.

Eeanne never failed to surprise us everyday with her eagerness to demonstrate what she has learn. Today she ran with an open arm to her daddy which she almost trip and fall. However she manage to control her steps quickly enough to give daddy a big warm and cheerful hug. It was obvious to see that Eeanne was really sleepy but she is a very tough girl. Not like ohter babies which already in their sweet dream, Eeanne was still very energetic during this hour at around 11.00pm

After the shopping at Sunway, we dropped by Mc Donald for a light supper. I never knew in such a small world for a baby it is still have something which able to cause fear for Eeanne. Eeanne is scared of the Mr McDonald clown, she dare not touch the statue which is not Eeanne's usual behaviour. Eeanne will always use her touch to explore every new things except this clown. She was so impatient to leave the restaurant and looking for protection, which was her daddy's hug. Very quickly her fear had been soothed by her favourite french fries.

It took less than a minute for Eeanne to fall into her snooze tonight. I'm sure she will be having a good sweet dream just like daddy and mummy.

Table Manner...

All this while Eeanne has been trained to take her meal while watching Barney, the main purpose was to distract her so she will open her mouth and swallow her food.

Recently read some articles and noted this habbit is really bad and can cause risk to kids in long run. Oh no...we have been cultivating bad habbit for Eeanne for so long.

Today, I tried to train her on table manner, so I put her on her baby high chair and sat together with me at the dinner table for breakfast. I gave Eeanne a set of bowl and spoon, hopefully she will sit quietly and feed herself. I started by putting a little bit of her favourite sesame powder on her own bowl, initially it was still alright and she is willing to eat her cereal, slowly she started to use her hand to put into her bowl and play around with the sesame powder.

Oh..you can never stop a baby from doing what she like...When I told her "NO" and took away her bowl, again she screamed "no...no" and reluctant to continue her cereal.

No choice, I had to give in! By the time I handed over the sesame bowl to Eeanne, she was throwing tantum and threw the bowl to the floor!! All the sesame powder scattered around the dinner carpet..oh I almost vomit blood!

Finally I have to switch on the Barney and trying to feed her, but Eeanne had already lost her appetite.

Really not easy to train a baby...Think I will take Leona's advice to put the sheets or newspaper on the floor and buy the Ikea special bib where the food will fall inside the bib.

"no..no.."

Sincne after watching the "Three Little Pigs" CD, now Eeanne is expert in saying "no..no.." She knows how to use this word in rejecting her food or whenever I took over her favourite toys. Sometimes she was acting stubbornly on things that she insisted to have like holding shape objects, putting crayon into her mouth etc, then she will shouted "no...no" when I prevented her from getting all those stuff.

She is learning fast now for her age of 15 months. Now Eeanne can pronounce well on words like nose, eye, mouth, teeth, hair, head, leg and hand. And she is good in recognising some animals like elephant, zebra, cat, giraffe, crocodile(these are the animal pictures on her bedsheet) and rabbit, dog, pig, bird, cock, duck, cow and sheep. For color, she will only say the word "pink pink especially at the time to choose for her cloth after bath. She is not good yet in recognising shapes, don't know whether she is on track on the brain development for her age.

Now I'm teaching Eeanne numbers and alphabet, so far she knows A for Apple, B for Bees and C for cat. Whenever I say D for...she will pretend not listening and busy with her toys again. In order to make the numbers learning more interesting, I'm playing with her on hide and seek by counting 1 to 10, now whenever I count 1 to 10, she will close her eyes with both her tinny cutie hands and waitng for me to hide, then she will say "boo" (pick-a-boo) when she found me...so cute of her.

I called "Mummy"!!!

Hai...don't know why mummy always asked me to call "mummy"....you know it is so hard to murmur that word. Daddy, mama, yeye, kong kong, bo bo and even kakak are much easier to call and I'm so good in calling all of them.

Last 3 weeks I was playing alone in mummy's bed. I was so concentrated in playing my toys and out of sudden, mummy's nagging came back again..."Call mu...mmy lah..."

Mmm...so bored of hearing this sentence almost everyday...Don't they adult understand of baby's privacy!! I need time alone too!!

Sometimes really don't understand what are these adults thinking. Is this word of "mummy" can really make mummy so happy? Aren't there a lot of other things worth to be cheered of instead? I think this word must meant a lot to mummy otherwise she won't be forcing me day and night.

Ok lah..as her only princess, it is part of my responsibility to make her happy too and I would like to see mummy smiling face(after all she has been smiling to me everyday...)

"Eeanne..call..mu..mmy...".

Finally.... I took a deep breath and....ultered the word "Mummy"

"Ah..." I heard mummy's sharp screaming, then she hugged me and kissed my whole face. Ee...she left lots of salive on my smooth pinky face..ee..yak!

At last I made mummy so satisfied. I heard she kept telling daddy that I know how to call "mummy". My just one simple word has really please her the whole night, now only I realise that I have so much hidden power...hehehe

Eeanne scared of Indian...

Ha...first time I saw Eeanne in scared...

Last 2 weeks we went to an Indian restaurant with my parents, we put Eeanne in the baby chair and ordered our food. The waiter were so naughty to tease Eeanne, he gave a fierce look and gestured Eeanne to sit quietly (because Eeanne kept standing up and wanted to come down from her baby chair).

First we thought it was funny and just laughed to warn Eeanne that uncle was "mea mea"(scolding). But Eeanne was seriously quiet and her whole facial expression changed. She came closer to me and hide her face on my chest. So I hugged her and told her it is ok. She really kept quiet for almost 10 minutes and sat still!!!(wah...the first time seeing her keep quiet for such a long seconds besides her sleeping time)

Oh..both daddy and mummy were so heart sick to see Eeanne in such a situation. Even though it was a bad experience for Eeanne, at least now whenever we go for eat-out, she can sit quietly. And yet mummy and daddy are so bad to use the word "uncle mea mea" to scare her whenever she start to climb up from her baby chair....

"Where is 'kut kut'....?"

Wah...I didn't know that Eeanne start to understand lots of things and even has a good memory for her age of 15 months.

Eeanne has her favourite toy car, she likes to ride on it around the dining room. It is a birthday present from her "kau fu". Her toy car has a small storage box on the seat and Eeanne like to open and close and put all her toy stuff into it.

Today, "bo bo" and I were searching up and down on Eeanne's water feeding bottle. At last I was just casually asking Eeanne: "Where is your 'kut kut' ..?"

Out of our surprise, she stopped for a while and walked from the piano to her toy car and opened the storage box!! Wah...the feeding bottle was inside it...hahaha

We had a big laugh and I know that start from today onwards, I can rely on Eeanne to find my missing stuff (since mummy also very amnesia....)

My Happy Family
