23rd February 2010 - my pacifier-free DAY....


"I want 'wow wow', I want 'wow wow'...." (wow wow = pacifier)
"Where is my pacifier....?"
"Give me pacifier, ple...ase.........."


Since baby, I will look for pacifier only when it is sleeping time, but the older I grow, I get the bad habit of sucking it all day long, everyone says it is ugly but I just don't feel it and think it is cool...haha.


When I reach 2y.o., mommy was trying hard to get me free of the pacifier, smartly I always win the deal with my crying, without the pacifier everyone is not going to have a good time especially at night...hehe..


Mommy never gave up, she tried the idea to put off the pacifier on weekends during my afternoon nap, mommy has underestimated me *wink*, my persistence overcome her patience, after waiting hour and hour for me to fall asleep, mommy can't do anything else, she just wasted the whole weekend afternoon lying on bed waiting in vainly for me to fall asleep. I win again!!!


Two days before CNY, unfortunately I had a sudden fever just before going back to Ipoh. Dr Chan prescribed Augmentin syr and Zithromax syr. Oh no......Augmentin syr again.....my no. 1 great fear! Luckily my fever subsided very quickly.


So...life goes peacefully with my 'wow wow" ...:-P


Recently mommy started again the stopping pacifier mission....


Due to my half broken pacifier which mommy insisted not to replace it with a new one for me, mommy said that this cracked pacifier is easily trapped with germ, if I keep taking it, I will get the infection of white spot on my throat, then I will need to take AUGMENTIN!!


AUGMENTIN?.....NO! NO! NO!


Mommy put the pacifier infront of me and said: "it is your own choice, up to you....If you want to get white spot on throat and take Augmentin, go ahead with your pacifier"....


Looking at the pacifier, I think twice again and again and said innocently: "this pacifier is not suitable for me ar?" Sadly mommy just nodded her head.


So I dare not put my hand on the pacifier thinking of the pain drama of taking Augmentin syr.


So...I get the "wisdom" gradually understanding the consequence of taking pacifier and getting sick, and from 23rd Feb 2010 onwards, I have freed myself from 'wow wow'...hooray!!!


One day, I overheard daddy and mommy's conversation:
Mommy: see....this trick works, she is no more asking for pacifier.


In my mind, I wish to ask mommy what does that mean of "trick", anyway I will find out myself one day.


Then I noticed mommy asking kakak to keep away the NEW spare pacifier....


Who bother....anyway I am FREE now.....:-)

Eeanne comforts mommy's guilt

Since coming back from CNY break, almost every morning Eeanne was acting very crankily once woke up, making noise to wake mommy up, it was so frustrated especially on the working days as mommy was really tired and wished to roll on bed for a little while. For the past Tuesday morning, mommy really cannot "tahan" already and burst out to Eeanne but the guilt arisen immediately less than 5 min after the reprimanding. Mommy felt so bad scolding Eeanne just because to have a more little while sleep :-<

So after reaching at office, mommy decided to call Eeanne......

Mommy: Eeanne, why were you crying this morning?

Eeanne (casually and innocently): No, I didn't, I'm big girl already.

(kids are very forgetful...)

Mommy: so....are you feeling better now?

Eeanne (happily): yes, I'm fine now, thank you

Mommy(guiltily): this morning mommy scolded you, sorry huh....

Eeanne (spontaneously and in high pitch): it is OK....

(mommy's heart soothen)

Mommy: so..can you forgive mommy?

Eeanne: YES!

Mommy(tempting to give Eeanne a big hug): Thank you. I love you...

Eeanne: I love you too.....

Mommy suddenly awaken: My girl has grown up....she is no more a baby.....

Langkawi experience....

Due to the budget constraint, we booked for a local affordable once yearly family trip last Sept during the Matta fair to Langkawi, it was a 3D2N stay at Berjaya Spa Resort by Firefly.

It was 8 of us, a perfect even number for a tour package. It was indeed tiring especially handling 4 elderly and 1 toddler. The resort which is considered a 5-star delux hill-view room is really an ideal choice for couple, but for elderly, this was the complaint: "haiyo...why we come here to stay in the jungle ar...somemore need to climb so many steps to go into the room".:-/ Serious commment from kong kong was "next time don't stay near to the jungle ar..., it is easily to have land slide and dangerous" :-<

Ballerina

After the hassle of 2 trial class, mommy paid for the whole set of ballet costume and enroll Eeanne for ballet.

First mommy made an enquiry at A ballet center, this center is really pack and the ambience is not so welcoming. Then we made another enquiry at B ballet center, Eeanne likes the trial class here and mommy likes the ambience and teacher too:-) But here they sell the costume at a bit high price, RM200 for the whole set (dress, can can, stocking and shoe), so to save the money, mommy went back to the A center to get the set at RM100 only, of course the quality is much different...so "kiam siap" ho, mommy thought of in a short while the costume will be out of size, so a cheaper one will be a saving. This cheaper set comes with short stocking and in white, so mommy bought a long stocking from B center cost RM 35. All the students in B center are with pink costume, so this makes Eeanne a bit outstanding, anyway, never mind la....soon sure we need to get a bigger size :-P

Eeanne really has the talent in dancing and daring too. Even at the 1st trial class, Eeanne didn't need mommy to be around in the room and paid full attention to teacher.

Eeanne followed very well on each step that teacher led, it is so entertaining peeping through the door looking at Eeanne twisting and turning for 45 minutes. She is really cute!
