The Most Touching Word from Eeanne

It is so touched to have Eeanne's first hand writing of "I love you mum" which mommy has never taught Eeanne before. Somehow Eeanne learnt this from her cousins and wrote it out today after the dinner and asked mommy to have a look...oh so sweet of you Eeanne....;-)

Afterward Eeanne also write "I love you dad" and reminded mommy to post it on this blog and get daddy to see it...;-)

Sushi Lunch Box

After the snowman making for Eeanne lunch box, this time mommy tried on making a sushi with Japanese rice (it is really much easier to do it with Japanese rice besides the nicer taste, the previous normal rice was really taking lots of time in molding the snowman..)...It was so successful that Eeanne loves it so much! Eeanne never had good appetite in her morning breakfast, usually she will just had a protein drink or 1 or 2 pieces of biscuit, but today Eeanne had 3 pieces of sushi in a blink of eyes;-) This really makes mommy so happy....

Here are the ingredients....fried egg+crab meat+sliced carrots...

]
It is so easy by using this tool which daddy bought from the Daisho.....

Wrapping with the crispy seaweed....

Here is the mommy's first handmade sushi!! yeah...Eeanne is so generous to offer 3 pieces for her best friend Ashley.

Since Eeanne loves mommy sushi so much, the next following day mommy woke up again at 6am to make her sushi lunch box again! (Although it was a bit torturing to wake up at this unusual early hour, the joy of Eeanne eating it pay it off..:-)) This round mommy prepared 8 pieces for Eeanne and she offered 2 for Ashley again and ate 6 pc for herself!! wow...!!She really loves it....

For this 2nd round making, mommy changed the inner ingredient...it was fried crab meat and prawn with sesame oil and chinese cooking liquor, added in egg and sliced carrots too...

Fried crab meat+prawn with sesame oil and chinese cooking liquor...yummy!!

Here is the inner ingredients.....

The rice and ingredients are till sufficient for mommy to make 2 pieces of California rolls....:-))

It has been some time since our last picnic. Today is our family outing day again and we went to Lake Garden anticipating for the boat ride but unfortunately there is no more boat riding activity in Lake Garden...;-( So ended up Eeanne had her football session with daddy at the park.

As usual we prepared our breakfast for picnic....and as usual everyone woke up late and ended to have breakfast at home before going to the park.

After the park, we headed to KLCC Kinokuniya and spent the whole afternoon in the mall. It was really a long whole day outing....until mommy is really exhausted and desperately wishing to go to bed now....zzzzzzz......

Lantern Festival

Oh...both mommy and daddy will not be around with Eeanne for this year Lantern Festival;-(

Mommy even will miss the Eeanne's kindy Lantern Festival night on next week...sob sob...

To compensate, mommy bought the Baker's One recipe and made the virgin homemade mooncakes for daddy and Eeanne!! Thanks for Baker's One readily packed ingredient recipe....the whole family members love the taste of this mooncake...yeh...!

Eeanne...you enjoy the school party and Lantern Festival night with Chloe, Max and Ivan ya.:-)
The making of mooncake...
This is the traditional deco mold. Initially mommy thought of getting the Mickey's mold but it is too costly just for one time use in a year.:-<

The mooncake mix in the mold....

Ta dha....my mooncakes...

Mommy never knew that it is so easy to make mooncakes, we can make it next time more often (since everyone says nice..), not necessary to wait for next year Lantern Festival...yeh....

Little Red Riding Hood..:)

Mommy has not been reading this for Eeanne for almost a year plus...this is one of Eeanne's favourite ladybird's series.

Lo and behold....all the mommy's efforts paid off...the fruit sow is now Eeanne can read this whole story book to mommy as bedtime story!!! mmmm....so sweet..:-D

Mischievously Eeanne changed all the word "Red" to "Yellow", so her story goes as "little yellow riding hood"...hahaha...

It is a heavenly experience just lying on bed, getting ready to sleep with the bedtime story told by my little princess...what else can be more comfort than this....:-))

Daddy's Day!

Wah, this year we celebrated twice for Daddy's birthday, one on Chinese calendar date with mama yeye and family, one on the actual western date(that is yesterday!) with just the three of us.

This is the birthday that mommy bought from RT Pastry, a good choice for family as the taste is not so sweet as other cakes we used to buy, the soft texture is spongy and really nice, all of us love it!
Besides the cake (which we first tried), Eeanne likes the bread from RT Pastry especially. It is famous for its freshness and natural source material used, their breads have more variety (a mixture of Japan and Taiwan concept) and most importantly, we are rest assured that the daily supply are all fresh baked and never have left over from the day before stock, we consumers may take it with a peace of mind.
Yeah..the plastic bag used are biodegradable too, at least we a little bit on the social responsibility effort.

See the cake below? It is mommy home made butter birthday cake for Daddy, yeh!
Even though it is plain, not much creamy and decoration, it is sufficient to touch Daddy's heart..as this is the first birthday cake made by mommy to daddy after our 8 1/2 years marriage. (paise)

We blew the birthday cake the on the western calendar date birthday eve.

Oh...daddy is so lucky, we celebrated twice for him this year, on 27th the day itself, we shopped at Mid Valley and had our dinner celebration at the Han Room-a very nice and highly recommended Chinese Restaurant.  We were all fascinated by the food!  There are more info available about Han Room on their delicious dishes.

All the seats are at shoulder height and giving each every customer a privacy meal.

Mommy's favourite lobster ho fan, we were too hungry to finish half bowl only realised that mommy had not capture the picture of this dish.

Crab Frid Rice for Eeanne, it is really tinny portion, just nice to fill up Eeanne's stomach.

This is Daddy's favourite, Cod Fish served with orange, something new!

This is the Indonesia Curry Lobster with bun, 3 of us enjoyed it so much even for Eeanne despite the spicy taste.

So how about daddy's present?  Of course it can't be missed out right.
When asked Eeanne about what to give to for Daddy's birthday...mischievously she whispered "we buy daddy coffee and put a rat inside!"
Oh, Eeanne knows coffee is daddy's favourite but where does the idea of rat come from? none of us can figure it out till today.

Our Long Awaiting Lettuce....

From our last visit to Janda Baik organic farm in March 2011, mommy had bought some lettuce seeds to plant our own organic lettuce. This lettuce is without any fertilizer and mommy was so blur of not even put any organic nutrients, that is why it took 4 months to finally able to enjoy the harvest....
These are the little bundle of lettuce after 4 months...haha ...so pathetic...
Anyhow, there is a feel of satisfaction on having this own planted healthy vege....:-)

Due to too little, mommy just boiled it and add some fried prawn with sesame oil.....
Don't know why these lettuce tasted bitter than usual vege....:-/

After the lettuce, now mommy is into planting own vegetables, here are some seeds that mommy bought and hopefully this round we don't need to wait for another 4 months...Few friends have recommended mommy to put some "natural" fertilizer such as the waste water from the rice washing and the unfinished cooked vege (instead of throwing, now mommy can use it as natural organic fertilizer)..;-)

This round we planted these 3 vege, hopefully a few months later, we can harvest all and enjoy it...hehehe...

Eeanne is eager to help too, helping mommy to loosen the soil and water the seeds...my sweet little angel...:-)

Here are the new pots for chili, brinjal and okra.....

Mommy is so excited to wait for the next harvest......serving healthy home planted vege for Eeanne....

Story Behind the Drawing.....

Since mommy get Eeanne this whiteboard, on and off Eeanne will just spent her time doing her own scratching on the board, sometimes it can be alphabet writing, sometimes a drawing(most of the time) and sometimes just few numbers with addition and equation symbols.

Mommy likes to see Eeanne's drawing as it reflects her inner story. And mommy is particularly cautious on the pictures that Eeanne drew and also the colors that she used, luckily till now all her drawing and colors used didn't show any alarming message...:-D. The art of drawing is really a good way to understand our kids better.

This is one of the best drawings that mommy finds it is really meaningful and attractive. Mommy finds that this consists of many Eeanne's happy imagination and creativity. Here is what Eeanne told about her jumble up story details...

"It is a happy Christmas day.....
There is water flowing near the house.....
The house is a long long tower and the little girl is staying in the tower...
The witch is staying at a different tower...
So the lizard went to rescue the little girl....
And there is a rabbit hopping back to its burrow....."

mmm...actually mommy doesn't really catch the flow of the story, as a guess, it is a mixture of the story from The Rapunzel and Alice in the Wonderland...haha..

It is cute to look at this picture and hear Eeanne's story....
Mommy doubts on why lizard and not other animal that comes to rescue....haha...perhaps Eeanne's is good in drawing lizard at this stage of age.....

So sweet.....:))

Family Trip to Universal Studio Singapore! (Part III)

13th July 2011 - Last day in Singapore Sentosa Island.

Actually we spent the whole 3 days in the island except the night before went out to catch the night view of Marina Bay. Even though it is rather wasted but it was really a very relaxing free and easy trip.

On the 3rd day morning, we woke up early purposely just to let Eeanne to swim in the hotel swimming pool as promised. She already noticed the pool from our hotel room balcony on the 1st day arrival and kept asking for swimming.
View from the pool, our room is on the 4th floor to the right...

Eeanne and daddy were having a great time, mommy became the camera woman...

Daddy can become Eeanne swimming coach already...:-)

Time to check-out...

At Michael Hotel lobby, we missed to take these stadhuys on the arrival day.

The Gelato here is really nice...think we had the most ice cream and cold drinks in these 3 days.....

The candy shop....mommy is amazed by the colorful pellets, the bright colors can really make you feel good and happy...haha...
see the candy arranged like the cloth in bar selling at Kamdar...;-)

The lollipop behind looks tasty....

candy pellets like the color paint chart...

After a long walk we took a rest at the Hard Rock Hotel lobby....

We had our lunch at Vivocity again before heading to airport...This Sushi Ramen Restaurant food is highly recommended....yum yum.....

Waiting for on board.....it is so....good to have this leg massager in the Changi Airport, at least can have a good treat to mommy and daddy's legs.

Bye bye Singapore......exhausted look....

Now after back to KL about 3 weeks, Eeanne still keep mentioning about Universal Studio, she even shared her experience with the auntie at her kindy. Think Eeanne has get hooked on joy of travelling, once came back, she immediately mentioned about next trip to Taiwan!! Oh no......

My Happy Family
