First exposure to Poster Color

Eeanne likes coloring very much and mommy is considering whether to start back Eeanne on the Da Vinci drawing class. Undoubtfully after the 4 classes in Da Vinci, Eeanne's drawing skill has shows some improvement. Due to Eeanne was too young during that time(just touched 2yo), so mommy thought of stopping the class and let Eeanne do her own home practice, then now think it is time to reconsider whether to resume.

At the initial stage, Eeanne was introduced to crayon, then only slowly expose to color pencils. Mommy always see Eeanne as a impatience toddler but when it comes to drawing, she is really attentive and serious and could really patiently colored the whole picture even though her hands were tired.(Eeanne will shake her hand to relax and then continue her coloring)

Recently mommy has the idea to let Eeanne try on either poster or water color and planning to do a Father's Day card together with Eeanne. So finally mommy bought the poster color.

First mommy prepared the table covered with newspaper to protect it, cut a potato into half to make a face and a star, then get ready the pallette, a cloth and a bottle of water.

To start out the feel on poster color, first mommy gave Eeanne a picture to color, and she likes it!! In fact, Eeanne is more expert than mommy when come to color mix, Mommy only thought of introducing individual color for Eeanne while Eeanne is more creative to mix around the colors and so fascinated by looking on the color change. After the picture coloring, then we started our card creation...

Eeanne's work...Mommy just thought of pink but Eeanne mixed the pink and blue to have the purple for the sea plant, then mix plain brown and black to come out more real rock color!

Eeanne was so intrigued on the color mixing

Am I look like an artist?

Wau...she looks serious....

My first Father's Day card for Daddy....
The flower petals are made from Eeanne's finger pointer while the leaves are from her thumb print
Mommy cut out the color papers for Eeanne to paste as the bodies and Eeanne used the color pencils to draw the lower part of the bodies and legs and hands
The front page: written by Eeanne.
Daddy....are you proud of me???
