My poor garden....
Another Milestone....
There are so many things to tell about Eeanne, so many achievement to celebrate & so many sweet memories to ponder, but mommy's brain is stuck now and no idea where to start.
Let's slowly work backward to recall while continue putting us back on track...
So today may be another milestone celebration for Eeanne!
Yesterday night we came back from mama's house(once a week family dinner), it was a tiring day for Eeanne after playing with her cousins. Mummy freshed up Eeanne before heading home, put her on pyjamas and a bottle of milk. When we reached home, Eeanne was instantly fell asleep.
This morning, as usual when Eeanne woke up, the 1st thing is to take off her diaper. And oop...where is the diaper?? And Eeanne sleepily said "there is no diaper mummy"..
Mummy had forgotten to put Eeanne on diaper yesterday night!! And Eeanne has slept through the night without wetting her bed!!
Of course there are lots of praising and encouragement for Eeanne and it is a joy to look at her proud expression on her own achievement:-)
So today 23rd August 2010, Eeanne makes another history in life of TOTALLY diaper-free!!

Satisfaction....
It was indeed a very fruitful day, staying home just the two of us. Thanks for the DVD of The Cloudy Meat Ball which kept Eeanne occupied the whole morning while mummy had the time to do the washing and cleaning. It was another tiring day, after doing all the cleaning, it was too late for making lunch, so mummy decided to eat out. We went to Hailam kopitiam for fried rice and Eeanne's favourite honey lemon drink. Before heading home, mummy dropped by fruit shop to get some dragon fruit for tonight and able to do some cheque deposit, all these with Eeanne as mummy's companion.
When mummy was busy with the house work, Eeanne was there to give a helping hand. Eeanne helped to fold all the handkerchieves, she even cleaned up by herself all the toys that she brought out to play, Eeanne really understand that mummy was really busy and even wisely asked: "no kakak ar?" while mummy arranged the cleaning plates and bowls.
Eeanne's helpful work
This was yesterday when mummy was cleaning the refrigerator, Eeanne insisted to help. Eeanne hyme the song of "Oh Sing Sweet Nightingale" while using the cloth to mop the floor (haha..she was pretending like the Cinderella)
After settled everything, we took a nap at around 5pm, both of us were so tired.
When we woke up around 7pm, mummy brought Eeanne to the neighborhood playground to get some outdoor fresh air. We stayed there around 1/2 hour and went home for shower. Then mummy prepared the dinner for Eeanne. It was really a great achievement for mummy especially on the dinner, this is the first dinner meal that mummy had done for Eeanne! Besides this dinner, there was once during Eeanne started on solid meal, mummy made the porridge for her but never other than porridge.
To make a simple and nutritional dinner, mummy made steam rice, steamed the carrot, pumpkin and brocolli, then mashed all together and made it look like a fried rice (Eeanne doesn't like vegetable, can't let her see the brocolli). Eeanne finished the whole bowl, slightly bigger portion than her usual dinner...hooray!! Then we had dragon fruit as dessert.
Wah...today mummy truly truly experience the life as a fulltime housewife, although it is very tiring, mummy really feels so fruitful and contented. All is because with Eeanne around. The satisfaction feeling is even greater than mummy's career satisfaction..haha.

First day without Kakak
Of course all of us miss kakak....haha, think daddy and mummy will miss the most especially on her help. Today is the 1st day kakak left us and surprisingly there is no sign yet of Eeanne looking for kakak..aiyo..."Eeanne...are you really so cold hearted, don't you miss kakak too?"
So how is life without kakak? hohoho...it is really not easy especially now mummy has to be the temporary "kakak". Just only 1st day, today mummy woke up at 9am and started all the house chores which mummy never done for years. First took in all the hanging clothes from outside, handwashed Eeanne's clothes, machine washed daddy and mummy's clothes, folded all the clothes and cleaned the refrigerator(now only mummy find out how dirty is our fridge). All these already took mummy 5 hours, when finally mummy had the time to sit down and rest, it was already 4pm!!! It was really exhausted!! Now mummy really salutes all those working mummies who have no maid, how are they able to manage all the housework and yet still able to spend time with their kids?!
One thing mummy realises, with just what mummy had done since this morning (excluding sweeping and mopping), there was so little quality of time to spend with Eeanne, kesian Eeanne,..she just wandered around looking for playmate, talking by herself and so bored until she took out her ballet shoes to practise dancing. In fact Eeanne was really cooperative, understanding and good girl, never disturbed mummy or throwing tantrum. When mummy was cleaning the refrigerator, Eeanne even came to help(of course she wet the floor everywhere but it was another type of joy!). The whole cleaning process, Eeanne kept saying:
"mummy...are you ok?"
"mummy, do you need my help?"
mmm...so sweet....
The most touching part was, Eeanne suddenly gave mummy a surprise kiss on the cheek in the mid of cleaning, she seems like so....understanding and caring for mummy.....
Mummy feels like I'm really having an angel...and really grateful....
Back to the housework, now only mummy finds out things that are not properly done by kakak....so many corners that covered with cob webs!!
Hai...on one hand feels quite frustrated on the work, but on the the other mommy felt it is a blessing in disguise.
No doubt kakak has been very helpful in many ways in these 2 years, if not of this little flaw, then mummy will not have the opportunity to dirty my hands to experience a housewife's great work, if not of this little flaw, mummy will not find out Eeanne can be so helpful and be grateful to have a daughter.
Mmmm..life is so impermanent...kakak's presence is impermanent, so as mummy as a temporary maid also impermanent, luckily the new maid is coming in another month time, hopefully the new kakak will be as helpful as Tarsilah kakak.
Instead of missing kakak, Eeanne is quite excited on meeting the new kakak and anticipating for her arrival. Daddy is over sensitive on Eeanne's reaction on kakak's leaving, Daddy perceives that Eeanne is hiding her own emotion, yes Eeanne is ratherr mature but is she until that extend in knowing to suppress her own sadness and pretending to be nothing happen & happy? mmm....Mummy really wonders......

RM43 Show....
Eeanne was very excited about the idea of going to the cinema which basically she has no idea what is it...Mummy kept telling Eeanne about the cinema's big screen, dark environment, loud sound system, 3D where the Woody and Buzz Light Year will come out from the screen and move around infront of her.
When we went into the cinema room and settled down ourselves, Eeanne put on her glasses and her eyes never left the screen...she was too intrigued by the big screen! It was just another undescrible feeling looking at Eeanne one hand reaching for the popcorn, mouth munching popcorn while eye kept staring on the screen...wau..she really know how to "enjoy" life...
During the whole movie, mummy and daddy kept switching our seats just wanted to sit beside Eeanne. (we booked 2 couple seats, initially Eeanne sat with daddy & mummy sat with kakak, then after a while we moved Eeanne to sit with kakak in order for her to have a clear view as no one sitting infront with head blocking her). Eeanne had forgotten that she was in the cinema, at one time she called out loud and asked "Where is the Buzz Light Year?" and immediately mummy daddy gestured our fingers on the lips and whispered shhhhh....(luckily we sat at the last row which will not get any complaint from other audience:-P)
So...who is watching whose show? What mommy knows is Eeanne's eyes never left the screen while mommy and daddy's eye kept turning to watch Eeanne. So Eeanne watched the Toy Story while mommy daddy watched the show of Eeanne watching the show...haha..and Eeanne's show is worth RM43!!!

Movie comment:
-overall it is a good movie that expose kids to the reality of world where there were good and bad guys out there. Unlike most of the princess movies that Eeanne always watched that left her in the fantasy world
- it is quite touching especially till the end. The bring home moral value is "detachment". Toys are part of kids growing process companion and no matter how loved the toys are, life moves on and they need to grow further without these toys
- good teaching on taking care of own toys and belongings for all kids. Especially on nowadays kids are bombarded with too many toys, they learn to value each toys and how to pass on to those most needed instead of discarding them.

Mom-Daughter Talk
So this morning, mommy asked for Eeanne's favor to call for kakak, but Eeanne was so lazy lying on her bed reluctant to move. Mommy called for several times and said:
Mommy: ok, you are not helpful as "siau niang re", mommy will sayang "siau niang re" and not you anymore.
Eeanne: No...."siau niang re" is only the movie character...you cannot sayang her one..."
:-/
