Happy 2012!!!

2011 is a history now, with a joyful and anticipating mind we welcome 2012!! Whether the Maya calendar prediction will be a reality or else, life still goes on and we hope for the best to the future and still continue with our responsibilities and duties with an cheerful and positive heart;-)

2011 has been a thunder speed year, everything passed so quickly and rushing. As usual many changes happened, new achievement obtained and unhappy event rises and falls...

So for this 2012, mommy wishes Eeanne filial, intelligent with wisdom and healthy life too. Most importantly Eeanne to be able to control her own emotion intelligently. Mommy hopes that Eeanne will learn more daily skills in her 5 yrs kindy and learn from her own mistake and shortfalls during her 4y.o and get over it.

Just like last year, we had a quiet and peaceful New Year Eve celebration at Subang Jaya Buddhist Association temple, Eeanne enjoyed the session and had our count down together with all the wise people including the 3 monks. We sang together the 3 meaningful songs while welcoming 2012 which are "What a wonderful world", "Imagine" and "The Buddhist Way".

Now to flash back on what Eeanne has done and achieved in 2011:

#1. Eeanne visited the KL Library and loves to visit this place. We went there a few times to borrow a number of books, Eeanne has cultivate her good reading habit.

#2. Eeanne paid her first visit to TTDI Park which is a healthy weekend activity that mommy planned to do for her all this while. We should do this kind of healthy sport and leisure events more often in 2012 instead of shopping and cinema.

#3. Eeanne started joining the Buddhist Gem Fellow Kids in 2011 to learn the Buddha teaching of dhamma. Here Eeanne learns her moral and expose herself in the Buddhism world. This year, mommy will be one of the volunteers in this biweekly dhamma class to learn together with Eeanne:-)

#4. Eeanne made her first Mother's and Father's day gifts which she learned from her kindy!!

#5. Eeanne and mommy planted our first organic plants of lettuce, okra, brinjal and chili. And we even tasted our first own hand planted lettuce and okra. Brinjal and chili are still growing now, we are waiting for the fruit..;-)

#6. Eeanne first drew her imaginative picture with her own created story. She started to correlate the picture with a smooth sequence flow of story line. Her drawing of human is improved with added shirt, skirt and shoes instead of just an initial straight lines to represent hands and legs;-)

#7. Eeanne visited Singapore Universal Studio and enjoyed so much!

#8. Eeanne read her first bedtime story for mommy!! She can read the whole book now!! Our new promise in 2012 is..., mommy and Eeanne will take turn to read each other bedtime stories:-)

#9. Eeanne wrote her first phrase of "I love you mom" and "I love you dad" on her whiteboard, that writing worth a thousand words...^_^

#10. Eeanne loves mommy's homemade sushi for her school lunch box. She learns her generosity by sharing her favourite food with her best friend. Sometimes even requested mommy to prepare lunch box for her...(that means mommy will have more work in 2012:-P )

#11. Eeanne attended her first kindy graduation concert and first time performing on stage, and she danced really well!

Contented is bliss...a precious value for Eeanne to grab in 2012....

As a mommy's priceless diamond, mommy hopes for Eeanne's continuous eternity shine and glow ....;-)

Our 2010 Achievement...Together We Grow and Welcome 2011!!

1/1/11 - Happy New Year to all my friends and whoever read this blog. May you all be well and happy!

Every year there will be a new year, but 1/1/11 is only appears once in our lifetime! Before we set our 2011 new year resolution, let us reflect on what we have achieved in 2010.

This year we(Eeanne, daddy and mommy together with kakak) had a rather peaceful and meaningful new year celebration in SJBA temple. But before that we had a sumptuous buffer dinner with mama yeye at Tasty Pot steamboat, it is somehow imperfect as we can't celebrate together with kong kong and bobo, but Eeanne called to M'cca and sent her new year wishes!

This is the first year mommy daddy spent a quite peaceful new year instead of squeezing in the crowd to view the fireworks. Perhaps age is catching up and we only wish for a get together happy moment, sharing and talking..:-) We really had a wonderful moment. We chanted and sang the Buddhist hymms with the blessing quotes slides showing on the screen, we are glad that Eeanne followed and enjoyed the whole session.

So what has Eeanne achieved in 2010?

Luckily everything has been jotted down in this blog, mommy recalled those memories by browsing through this blog, and realize 2010 is really speed like a blink of an eye.

Here are Eeanne's few significant achievement:

#1: Eeanne started her Da Vinci drawing class and drafted her first drawing with a happy family 3 members for daddy's birthday.

#2: Ballerina Eeanne ventures into Agape Ballet class and throughout 1 year, she has change her ballet dress twice because her physical growth is out growing her suite.

#3: Eeanne has her 1st trip to National Zoo.

#4: Eeanne is free from her beloved pacifier.

#5: Mommy fulfilled one of the 2010 goals to have a family local trip with mama yeye and kong kong bobo. We had a great time in Langkawi Berjaya Resort.

#6: Eeanne masters her 1st 20 numeric numbers with counting and able to write 1 to 20!

#7: Eeanne has her 1st cinema show of Toy Stories in 3D, ever since that time, we had numerous cinema shows and Eeanne really enjoy watching movie in the cinema:-)

#8: Eeanne 1st time expose to poster color! And since then she always like to use the paint brush to color her whole palm and make her own colorful palm painting.

#9: Mommy realise that mommy indeed has a helping hand during the time period without a kakak, Mommy never been aware that Eeanne can also help in doing house chores. Mommy is so proud of you, girl...

#10: Eeanne is so understanding to help mommy to save the diaper money, she is totally diaper free 3months after she turned 2yo!

#11: Mommy is glad that Eeanne has cultivate the good reading habit, she is now finishing her Peter & Jane 4b! Hooray!

#12: Eeanne has her 1st horse riding experience in Penang beach, riding with Eeanne is always mommy's dream and it came true....

#13: We achieved our dream to have our 2nd trip to Hong Kong and Eeanne met all her princesses in HK Disneyland!

Overall we are grateful on what we have achieved. 2011 will be definitely a more challenging year especially Eeanne will be started her another growing stage of entering into school. There will be more to learn, enjoy and achieved.

Mommy and daddy wish Eeanne to be wise, healthy, filial and respectful.

Happy New Year 2010!!!!

Time flies....2009 has became the previous chapter of life, 2010 is another new page full with colorful experience to venture, tales to tell, lessons to learn and events for us to feel gratitude.

It has been few years mommy didn't write down the new year resolutions. Yesterday mommy just completed the draft of mommy's personal and our family New Year Resolutions. Wah...there will be new challenges to face and new goals to achieve for Eeanne, above all, the most important is daddy mommy would like to wish Eeanne well, happy and healthy!

2009 flash back...

Of course, there are many good achievement, too long list to jot down here. Overall daddy mommy are quite satisfy with what we had achieved in 2009

So what Eeanne has achieved?

- well...obviously Eeanne's linguistic development is fabulously improved

-Eeanne's singing talent is improving through the year, her favourites are "The whole new world", "Reflection", "Dancing Queen", "Slipping Through my fingers" bla bla bla...of course all are not in full complete song:-P

-Eeanne has become very helpful in gardening and in any activities that mommy did

-Eeanne has develop her own opinion, good in protesting and never give up her right in choosing her favourite TV channels

-Eeanne started her lazy posture, like to lying on the mattress, leaning on the sofa cushion and phobia in taking her shower

-Eeanne had her first "rotan' cane in 2009!!

-Eeanne started her crankiness and often made daddy mommy and even mama to lost temper

-many many mores.....

Besides being grateful on past achievement, do not forget to continually feels gratitude on things to be done or happened in 2010. "Gratitude" is the value that mommy would like to inject into Eeanne's life.. Gratitude manifest in many forms: filial piety, high self-esteem, loving kindness attitude towards own self and others and be responsible are some of the daily useful tools. Mommy daddy will not hope for any returns from Eeanne for what we have done, mommy daddy will only hope that Eeanne to be respectful, filial piety and own responsible.

很早以前，一只母羊生了一只小羊羔。羊妈妈非常疼爱小羊，晚上睡觉让它依偎 在身边，用身体暖着小羊，让小羊睡得又熟又香。白天吃草，又把小羊带在身边，形影不离。遇到别的动物欺负小羊，羊妈妈用头抵抗保护小羊。一次，羊妈妈正在 喂小羊吃奶。一只母鸡走过来说：“羊妈妈，近来你瘦了很多。吃上的东西都让小羊咂了去。你看我，从来不管小鸡们的吃喝，全由它们自己去扑闹哩。”羊妈妈讨 厌母鸡的话，就不客气地说：“你多嘴多舌搬弄是非，到头来犯下拧脖子的死罪，还得挨一刀，对你有啥好处？”气走母鸡后，小羊说：“妈妈，您对我这样疼爱，我怎样才能报答您的养育之恩呢？”羊妈妈说：“我什么也不要你报答，只要你有这一片孝心就心满意足了。”小羊听后，不觉下泪，“扑通”跪倒在地，表示难以 报答慈母的一片深情。从此，小羊每次吃奶都是跪着。它知道是妈妈用奶水喂大它的，跪着吃奶是感激妈妈的哺乳之恩。这就是“羊羔跪乳”

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010
