Again due to H1N1 pandemic, we can't bring Eeanne to public swimming pool. Finally mommy brought Eeanne a mini home pool!! Eeanne had a great time but pitifully can only playing alone without her cousins around, she is having her own great fun....

Unfortunately, after the swimming that afternoon, Eeanne is immediately running down with cold that night...oh oh...Daddy has his bingo, the front car porch is 2,5 sick location according to fengshui point of view..see do you believe in fengshui???

Favourite activities

Sometimes mommy really out of idea on what to keep Eeanne occupied on every weekends. Whenever comes to Sat and Sun, mommy has to think of all sorts of home activities for Eeanne (since can't go out much to public areas due to the H1N1 pandemic). Thus sometimes mommy really feels Eeanne is wasting time at home, wandering about without special new things to learn. Her favourite activities will be playing "blocks" and coloring.

After many times of playing these 2 games, finally Eeanne catches the skill of coloring inside the line, before this she was simply scratching the whole color books and making a mess. At least there is improvement though it is not perfect yet.

On playing 'blocks', Eeanne has develope her own creativity, sometimes she will make one and say: "mommy Eeanne make a giraffe"(can't identify anyway except the long long stacks of blocks that she made represent the giraffe's neck).

Eeanne's understanding of money matter.....

Through the playing of "Princess" Monopoly that daddy bought for Eeanne, there are few learning lessons that she picks up from this games such as paying money for buying houses, counting the dots on the dice, counting money, follow the rules etc.

One day, as usual mommy had 121 leisure talk with Eeanne, the conversation went like this:

Mommy: Eeanne...next time when you grow up, how many house do you want to buy?
Eeanne: Two.

Mommy: These two houses are for who?
Eeanne: For mommy.
(so pleased to hear this...:-) A big kiss...muak...)

Mommy: Then Eeanne...when you grow up and work, how much money will you give to mommy every month?
Eeanne: Two ringgit!
(beating my forehead...faint...:-/ :-(

Daddy's Birthday....

27/08/09-daddy 38th birthday

Daddy’s birthday is such a big event, sort of Agung’s birthday, the King and the Queen were both taking a off day to celebrate this memorable event with Eeanne

Programmes:
- Lunch at Sunway Pyramid’s Canton-I
- Shopping at Sunway, it was daddy’s spending day, instead of Eeanne giving present to Eeanne, daddy wanted to buy Eeanne’s present on his birthday, so daddy bought 4 story books from Popular book shop
- After 4 hours outing, we went back for Eeanne to take a 2 hours nap, recharged for coming night programs
- Birthday celebration continued with “candle light” dinner(with Eeanne) at TGIF in 1 U. We choose TGIF because “kids eat for FREE” haha :-). The food served was really in huge portion and ended up we had 4 “ta pao”. There was a special arrangement by the TGIF staff that gave daddy a birthday singing with candled cake.

The whole programs went so smooth except the minor delay for dinner (back from planned scheduled) due to raining jam.

Daddy & mommy realized that no matter how we celebrate this birthday, Eeanne is still the main focus of all, with Eeanne around is the biggest and priceless birthday gift for daddy no matter how the programs go, even with the birthday song presented by TGIF staff, it looked more like was Eeanne’s birthday instead for daddy’s, the sense of contentment is indescribable just looking at Eeanne’s surprise look.

Eeanne has given daddy her first birthday song singing at her age of 2yr 3mth…(“daddy…you should feel proud with this, mommy is jealous)

After daddy’s dinner, we went to sam sam’s new house(new house move in day). It has been almost 1 month Eeanne didn’t meet her cousins, so they were really had a good time. That night was the first time Eeanne didn’t want to follow daddy mommy back home. Even everyday in mama’s house, Eeanne will eagerly waiting to be taken back home by either daddy or mommy. But tonight Eeanne had surprised everyone by saying “mommy you go home, I want to sleep with Chloe che che”
Eeanne was seriously wanted to stay, this made daddy mommy a bit panic. After a few persuasive effort to bring Eeanne back, she started to throw tantrum, crying and burst out words that really hurt mommy’s heart. Eeanne yelled at mommy saying “I don’t want mommy, I beat mommy”.
For the first time, mommy’s heart was shedding tears, mommy understands how much loneliness that Eeanne felt all this while that made her so much wanted to stay and play with her cousins. That night Eeanne cried all the way home in the car….
Mommy really hopes to give you a sibling soon. I love you Eeanne….

Change of Preference...

Yesterday was mommy's deepest down day. All this while, mommy has been too attached to Eeanne and Eeanne too is very close and attach to mommy. Still recall the past 2 months, Eeanne and mommy were sharing 1 same bed every night and Eeanne always rejected daddy to share the bed and always said "don't want daddy". This really made daddy extremely sad and mommy kept telling Eeanne the correct way to accept and love daddy.

Recently, Eeanne has been a bit rebellious and stubborn. Probably due to mommy's frequent reprimand and hand beat, or due to daddy recently kept giving Eeanne new toys replenishment, now Eeanne's preference has gone towards daddy...

Every morning, mommy will be the one to send Eeanne to mama's house (almost everyday) since she was a baby. Only recently daddy is sending her more often. Yesterday morning, Eeanne said "I want to follow daddy", even mommy called and tried to pretend to be sad, Eeanne has no touch feeling at all, she was so eagerly waiting for daddy to leave together and kept saying"mommy go to work ar...Eeanne follow daddy"..:(

Mommy's heart was really broken, the whole day was like a doom...Mommy has been thinking over and over what had went wrong that suddenly caused Eeanne not so attach to mommy anymore. Finally mommy realises one thing, mommy has been throwing whole hearted to Eeanne since born and over too attach to her, her little bit change of preference has made mommy goes mad.

Now was daddy's turn to play the role to tell Eeanne to love mommy. That night, when daddy fetched Eeanne back from mama's house, once mommy open the door, Eeanne displayed her sweet innocent smile and said "Don't sad mommy....I love you".....

At night, anyhow Eeanne still want mommy to sleep together with her. Now mommy realises that Eeanne is not unattach to mommy, she wants both daddy and mommy. Even at sleep, Eeanne will look for daddy to come to sleep together(which never been this way, only mommy alone accompanied Eeanne to sleep all the while), even with daddy alone also Eeanne will not be happy. Eeanne wants the 'togetherness', she will use her little hands hug around mommy and daddy's neck at both her left and right and say "happy family!!!":-)

That night, mommy and Eeanne slept so close together, talking, telling story, touching each other hands, rubbing the face and hugging until Eeanne fell asleep around 1a.m.

Surprising words and sentences....

Recently Eeanne has been very fluent in talking for her age of 2, looks like she is absorbing fast and keeping all the adult's conversation in her little memory and suddenly bursting out now that giving all of us a shock.

Some of the examples:
- one day out of the blue mood, during kakak changing cloth for Eeanne, she asked "what happen to Michael Jackson ar?"
(it has been almost a month ago since Michael Jackson's death with all the TV news and conversation about him). Does Eeanne really knows who is Micheal Jackson?? :-/

- tonight while playing with her princess toys, Eeanne said "Actually...the Cinderella bla bla bla, Actually...daddy bring Cinderella..bla bla bla" (Mommy doesn't understand the sentence behind of Eeanne's baby talk, but this is the first time Eeanne uses the word "Actually" and use it so many times in few sentences). Actually...does Eeanne really understand what is the meaning of "Actually"...:-)

- Eeanne is not fluent in her Mandarin, recently mommy starts to talk and tell some fairy tales in Mandarin for her. One afternoon, Eeanne pronounced very correctly telling us story by saying " 菲力王子.....(follow by her own imagination story in no-one-understandable Mandarin slang..hahaha)

- Eeanne already in the "why" stage, she keeps asking "why why why" for everything she comes to know. She asked "why” (in English) to yeye, mommy, daddy and suk suk except mama. One afternoon, mama brought Eeanne's new pyjamas to ask kakak to wash, and suddenly Eeanne interrupted in kantonese "cho mat ye oia sai?" (means: why need to wash?") and yeye mama burst into laughter.

The are more and more which mommy can't recall now.. It seems like everyday Eeanne is giving us a surprise in every aspect. The weekend full time with Eeanne is always fully occupied with programmes and 121 talking now :p

H1N1 restrictions....

Since the past one month due to the spreading of H1N1 influenza, Eeanne's weekend outdoor activity has been restricted. Up to date, the mortality has increase to 51 cases in Malaysia, this really made daddy over paranoia.

We were all recently just recovered from cold, fever and cough, especially Eeanne just almost finishing her 2 weeks Singulair after having the congestive cough and slight fever 2 weeks ago. Eeanne had the pneumonia incident in March, this really made us extra worry and paranoia.

In order to keep Eeanne occupied and enjoy her home stay, daddy has bought a collection of all the princess miniatures (Cinderella, Belle, Little Mermaid, Jasmine, Snow White and Princess Arora) and Eeanne is really excited and overjoy.

Butterfly Park Escapade

Daddy & mommy have been discussing on where to bring Eeanne for outing since yesterday. So many places in the list yet none are so appropriate at this kind of timing of H1N1 season. Those rejected by daddy are Sunway petting zoo, Bird Park, Zoo Negara and Mid Valley indoor Theme Park(rejected by mommy). Finally we decided to bring Eeanne to Butterfly Park(not much safer than Bird Park anyway:<).
Eeanne was really excited, kept saying "I want to go Butterfly Farm" on the way in the car. When we entered the park, we found that it is a bit over priced on the entrance fee:
Adult - RM 18
Children (2-11 yo) - RM 8
Then we realised that there is discount for Malaysians, the rate is almost half cheaper:
Adult - RM 8
Children (2-11 yo) - RM 4
We got this rate by just answering the receptionist's question that "we are from KL" without showing any proof (by the way, how about if other Asian tourist who speak cantonese who visit this place? haha...what a "good" control system"

Oh...there were so many foreigners visiting this park. This made us extra cautious. Think there was a middle-east tour, Eeanne was so curious about their dressing which cover up all except the eyes for those ladies. Suddenly Eeanne asked very loudly and innocently "why the auntie wear like this ar"..oop..daddy quickly stepped away and did the appropriate explanation.

It is awesome to have so many butterflies flying around us, some stopped on the flower petals, some flying wildly above us and some coming so near to us. Initially Eeanne was scared of the scene of too many buttlerflies flying around but slowly she got used to it and enjoyed the moment. We spend almost an hour in the park, and it is really not easy to bring kids to park especially in this sunny day.

At the exit, 3 of us were busy cleaning our hands with alcohol hand sanitiser and attracted the attention of the foreign tourist..haha
